Privacy Policy for ShreeMobile

ShreeMobile ("the app") is developed and published by C-POINT (cpointonline.com). It is a business tool for existing customers of our ERP / accounting software — it is not a public consumer app. Access requires a valid company account already set up with C-Point Computers, and each installation only ever loads that business's own data. Typical users are staff of a business (owners, accountants, salespeople) who need to view their company's ledgers, receivables, payables, item stock, vouchers, and address book while away from the office. This policy explains what data the app collects, why, and how it is used.

1. Data We Collect

• Installation ID: On first launch, the app generates a random identifier (a UUID) stored only on your device. It is not derived from your device's hardware, IMEI, or any personal identifier — it exists solely to associate this installation with the correct company account when syncing data.
• Company Code & Company Year: Business account identifiers you enter yourself to select which company's data to load. These are not personal data.

The app does not collect your name, precise or approximate location, device contacts, camera, microphone, call logs, or messages, and does not use any advertising or analytics SDK.

2. Your Business Data

When you tap Sync Data, the app downloads your business's accounting database from our server (cpointonline.com) and stores it locally on your device in an offline database, so it works without an internet connection until you sync again. This data may include:

• Ledger, receivable, payable, voucher, and item/stock records for your business
• Address Book entries you or your business have saved — which may include the names, phone numbers, email addresses, and postal addresses of your own customers or vendors

This data belongs to your business. It is only exchanged between your device and our server to keep your local copy synchronized with your account, and is never sold, shared with advertisers, or provided to any third party.

3. Actions You Initiate

• Tapping the Call or WhatsApp icon next to a contact opens your device's own Phone or WhatsApp app with that number pre-filled. The app does not read your call history, SMS, or WhatsApp messages, and has no access to your WhatsApp account.
• Generating or sharing a PDF report (Ledger, Item, Receivable, Payable, Address Book, etc.) creates the file locally on your device. It is only sent anywhere if you explicitly choose a destination from your device's own share sheet.

4. Permissions Used

• Internet: required to sync your company data with our server.
• Network State: used to check connectivity before attempting a sync.

The app does not request location, camera, microphone, contacts, or file storage permissions.

5. Data Storage & Retention

Synced business data is stored locally on your device and remains there until you sync again (which replaces it with the latest copy) or uninstall the app. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data. Your company's accounting data on our server is retained as part of providing the ERP service your business already subscribes to, under your existing arrangement with C-Point Computers.

6. Children's Privacy

ShreeMobile is a business tool intended for use by business staff and is not directed at, or knowingly used by, children.

7. Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same URL with a revised "Last updated" date.
